Design Brief - Making a Toy
Design and construct a child’s toy that has at least one moving part e.g. wheels on a truck, propellers on an aeroplane, horses on a carousel, etc. The toy should be not larger than 600mm high (push/pull toy) or 300 mm cubed (trucks, trains, etc).
Students may choose to make either a child’s toy or a broom holder.
Assignment due 15th May 2009
3 Dimensional Drawing
Use isometric dot paper to make a 3D sketch of your toy design or broom holder on A4 sized paper
or copy and paste the isometric dot pattern into Paint.
Draw and print it using the computer.
